Since Yaskawa Electric release the first all-electric industrial robot in Japan in 1977, the Motoman, we have continued to lead the international robot industry.

A wide range of industrial robots have been released since, especially in our core field of welding robots, but also for handling, assembly, painting and clean room applications. Today, they are hard at work around the world.

We were one of the first robotics companies to work on semiconductor manufacturing technology, and the development of mechatronics equipment led to the clean / vacuum robot. We will continue to develop technology to answer the requirements of shrinking IC geometry and growing wafer size.
