President's Message
Since its establishment, Yaskawa has always supported leading-edge industries and technologies of the times. Started with motor application, then industrial automation, and mechatronics to robots, our history runs parallel to the modernization of industry. Our business hubs are located in 28 countries around the world including Japan, and the production bases are located in 11 countries. Yaskawa’s technologies, products and services being created from those hubs and bases are enjoying high reputation and great trust from customers worldwide.
We currently operate in the following three business domains, “Motion Control”, “Robotics” and “System Engineering”. As a “Total Solution Company”, we contribute to the development of industry and society, by providing our customers with business solutions.
We are accelerating our activities for market expansion in the new business domains of “Environment & Energy” and “Robotics Human Assist” by utilizing the mechatronics technology fostered so far while aiming to realize efficient use of green energy and a society where humans and robots coexist.
We will build a Yaskawa Group that is able to grow continuously in the global economy to realize our vision for the year 2015, Yaskawa’s centennial anniversary, of using the group’s core technologies to solve emerging global problems.
